Trade Finance Readiness Review for Canadian SMEs, Importers, and Exporters

Find out whether your invoices, payment terms, documents, buyer profile, and cash flow situation are ready for funding, referral, or further preparation.
This is not a loan application and does not guarantee financing.

What problem CTF solves

Many businesses do not have a financing problem first. They have a file readiness problem.

Receivables are aging, cash is delayed, and the business is carrying the strain.
Money needs to go out before customer payments have cleared.
Suppliers need to be paid before receivables come in, creating unnecessary stress on working capital.
Good businesses still get rejected when invoices, support documents, or customer files are not clean enough.
Currency conversion, settlement delays, and poor payment workflow can quietly erode margin and liquidity.

How We Help

We work at the point where cash flow, receivables, and business reality meet. That means we do more than point people toward funding. We first assess what is actually going on.

Payment Optimization

We review how money moves in and out of the business, identify bottlenecks, and reduce friction across domestic and cross border payment workflows.

This Includes:

Receivables Readiness

We assess whether receivables are actually strong enough to support financing.

This Includes:

Capital Routing

When funding is the right answer, we prepare the file and route the business to the most suitable lender, factor, or working capital path.
This is not about sending applications everywhere. It is about making sure the file makes sense before it reaches the right desk.

Our Process

We use a simple process designed to reduce wasted time, improve file quality, and create a clearer path forward.

Each step is structured to help you better understand your finances, make smarter decisions, and achieve consistent financial growth.

Diagnostic

We review the business, the receivables picture, and where cash is getting stuck.

Readiness Review

We assess collateral quality, AR aging, customer concentration, disputes, and funding fit.

Fixes and Positioning

We identify what needs to be cleaned up before approaching any provider.

Routing

If appropriate, we connect the business to the right funding or payment solution.

Note: Not every business needs financing. Sometimes the right fix is better invoicing, cleaner collections, improved payment rails, or stronger documentation.

Who We Work With

We are best suited for businesses with recurring B2B invoices, net payment terms, cross border transactions or a working capital timing gap. We work with Canadian businesses across Canada and selected foreign SMEs preparing to do business in Canada.
We work with businesses buying or selling goods across borders. The review examines buyer and supplier terms, currencies, payment methods, supporting documents and the timing between shipment, delivery and collection.
Wholesalers and distributors often purchase inventory before receiving full payment from customers. We review supplier timing, customer terms, receivables aging, customer concentration and invoice quality.
Carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, drayage operators and other logistics businesses may face fuel, payroll and supplier costs before customers pay. We review billing timing, invoice support, receivables aging and payment friction.
Staffing businesses often pay employees weekly or biweekly while customers pay on longer terms. We assess the timing gap, receivables aging, customer concentration, disputes and document readiness.
Manufacturers and industrial suppliers may pay for materials, labour, production and freight before customer invoices are collected. We review payment terms, receivables quality, customer concentration and supporting documents.
Businesses supplying goods or services to governments and public agencies may wait for approvals, milestones or procurement documentation before payment. We review the payment chain, invoice support, customer concentration and working capital pressure.
Contractors, subcontractors and trades may pay for labour, materials and equipment before progress invoices are collected. We review billing cycles, holdbacks, dispute flags, customer concentration and supporting documents. We do not provide construction law or surety advice.
Consulting, maintenance, technology and other service businesses with recurring or project based invoices can experience delayed collections, disputed invoices or customer concentration. We review the file to identify what appears strong and what may need preparation.

Find Out if Your Business Is Funding Ready

Complete the form below and we will review whether the pressure is coming from receivables quality, payment friction, or a genuine working capital gap.
This is not a loan application. It is a diagnostic intake to help us understand how your business gets paid, where cash is getting delayed, and what the most practical next step may be.

Step 1: About You

Step 2: Revenue and Receivables

Help us understand the size of the business and the receivables profile.

Step 3: AR Aging Snapshot

Give us a quick picture of how current or overdue your receivables are.

For example, billing disputes, incomplete delivery claims, deductions, rebates, credits, or short payments.

Step 4: Current Pressure Points

Tell us where the pressure is showing up inside the business.

Step 5: Cross Border Activity

If your business invoices or pays outside Canada, that can affect timing, liquidity, and payment flow.

Step 6: What You Need Help With

Choose the area that feels most urgent right now.

Not sure is completely fine. We will sort that out during review.

We do not take deposits or hold client funds. We review cash flow, receivables, and payment workflows, then recommend the most appropriate next step.
